  • Aleksey Diyan

    Алексей Диян
    Biography:
Aleksey Diyan was born in 1982 to make the world better. As is well known, one can achieve this goal in two ways: by becoming a doctor or a programmer. Aleksey tried both. In 1999 he entered a medical college and then worked as a physician assistant for a year. But Lyosha changed his mind and decided not to apply to Kharkiv Medical University. The promising young doctor thought that he had to try everything he wanted in life, and got deeper into his second passion—programming. In 2003 Lyosha entered the University of Radioelectronics and during his studies proved himself to be a talented and purposeful person. Aleksey is a living embodiment of the saying “Diligence is the mother of success.”

The “feeling of power” was what drew him to programming, as well as medicine. It is safe to say that Aleksey wielded power not only in medicine, but now he also has power over many programming languages and other cool tricks.

If we try to discover the secret of his success, we will be simply astonished by his universality: it’s the ability to spell things out, put his finger on the main thing and do his best. We can call him “cool” with good reason. Other cool programmers listen to his opinion, and junior specialists ask him for advice. Isn’t it success?

Long ago, in my childhood, having read an absolutely amazing book by Strugatsky brothers, titled
“Monday starts on Saturday”, I decided to become a programmer by all means. Since then I’ve become interested in different aspects of software development: from code writing to building effective team software processes. I had time to code using Basic, Pascal, Foxpro, C++, C#, and a whole lot of diverse unintelligible languages like Bash or Perl. But in all fairness it has to be added, that the most part of my time I’ve dedicated to programming with C#. Currently being a Chief Software Architect, I manage a department the main task of which is investigation of perspective technologies for their implementation in company projects, as well as for broadening of developers’ technical expertise.
